WORKING TITLE
Eric Thorson's story is a new series currently in production in the early phases with story elements of Thor / Scandinavian folklore, dystopian world elements, and a whole lot of monsters that need... let's just say, a certain level of finesse.
Already written, Eric's story is bound to face a bit of a rewrite and will take some more work before being subjected to editing. Also, his character is a bit of an artist, an element I missed before and that needs to really sink into the storyline.
Eric is an animal-loving veterinarian graduate that was engaged, until the world fell apart and the mists descended on Earth's big cities and wiped them out. He's confused about how to fit into the world, especially since he doesn't really feel like he belongs there anymore.
Eric's life changes in strange ways when a mysterious woman shows up to the farm and then town where Eric lives and works. Let's just say, Val stands out and sees more in Eric than he sees in himself.

Who is this mysterious woman and what does she have in mind for Eric? And... why does she wear a bulky trench coat?
Okay, well, he does too. But Val, she just stands out in the most uncomfortable way. Doesn't she know how important it is to blend in; to not stand out?
​
Val is dedicated, curious, and brave and pushes Eric to become who he was meant to be... if he can survive.
​
Val joins him on a quest she heavily influenced him to take, into the wilds of the western United States in book one, Mists of Destruction (Working Title). The presence of the mists have changed the vegetation and animal life in bizarre ways. And is it just him, or does everything seem extra interested in hunting humans?
​
Val really pushes Eric to discover hidden connections of his past in order to understand himself better and see his potential. Ultimately it will lead him to connect to a very famous ancestor. Whether Thor himself will help him or not... you'll have to find out. And seriously... what's up with his goats?

Eric Thorson will be a new series of adult/young adult fantasy novels of a currently unknown quantity. Most likely the final count will be between 3 and 5 novels.

If you enjoy the Marvel Thor movies but wish there was more mythology, also if you like monster hunting adventures and a fun cast of characters with a hint at romance... Eric Thorson will be a fun read.
